4-H Chick Chain

What We Are About

We are doing things a little different than in years past.  We are still offering to help members obtain birds to use as project animals, but there is no requirement to return any birds for a sale! Members are however, encouraged to participate in the county poultry show. Participants may order 12 or 24 pullets for their poultry project. (Black Sex Link, Red Sex Link, Barred Rock, Rhode Island Reds or Orpington birds) A $50 fee per 12 pullets is required.

Our Goal

The goal of the CC program is to create a more responsible citizen by giving youth opportunities to develop and foster a relationship and bond with another living organism that are totally dependent upon them for their everyday needs.
