Blount County 4-H Clover Bowl History The Clover Bowl began in 1994 in Wilson County. Mitch Beaty saw the need for 4-H'ers to become more knowledgeable in the areas of 4-H, Tennessee, Agriculture and Family and Consumer Sciences. This contest is now available to 64 counties. Forty counties/144 teams/576 4-H'ers participated at two regional contests in 2006! It is estimated over 9,000 4-H'ers participate in this contest on the county level. Instructions for printing the 2009 Clover Bowl Handbook In order to print a complete Clover Bowl Handbook for your grade: Print the rules, regulations and references section. Print the 4th grade section next. Print any additional grade sections you need. For example if you need books for 6th graders, print 4th, then 5th, then 6th grade sections in that order.
*Bonus Questions may be used in your local and our county contests. The Region Clover Bowl will use material from all grade levels as well as the bonus questions to formulate new questions as outlined in the Clover Bowl Rules.
