Blount County 4-H Poultry Chick Chain
James McMillion
(865) 982-6430

What We Are About

This year again, we are offering more choices than in the past. You may elect to receive 12 or 25 Black or Red Sex Link pullets free or you may purchase another breed. We allow other breeds, so that you may enter your extra birds at the TN Valley Fair in Knoxville in September. The Sex Link birds can only be entered as a part of a county exhibit at the Knoxville fair.

Our Goal
The goal of the CC program is to create a more responsible citizen by giving our youth opportunities to develop and foster a relationship and bond with another living being that is totally dependent upon them for their everyday needs.

How To Get Involved

Please complete the application form and submit it either by mailing, faxing or dropping it off in person at the county 4-H Office by the January 15, 2008 deadline. An application form may be found on the "Publications" page under "4-H", if the link from this page becomes broken.
